Sharing across the internet
Sharing is fun...and good for business. Plus, our mothers taught us that sharing is important from an early age (although not all of us listened).
One of the great benefits of social media sites, blogs, etc is it allows you to share information with many different groups of people, many of which would never have come across what you are sharing. Best of all, most of these sites are free to use and fairly easy to setup.
One key to keeping people reading your social media sites is to provide interesting content or unique viewpoints on a regular basis. Make it fun and it no longer becomes "work"....ok its still work, but FUN work.
It is also a great way to spread the word about any "special deals" you have at your business. Everyone is looking for a deal and you never know who may be reading it! So with that, I will share with you with the boat below...my much loved fishing boat. Turnkey! Excellent condition and ready to go. Change in plans forces sale. Someone is going to be very happy with an almost new boat at a great price. Make offer!!

Welcome to the new Fairwinds Marketing blog site. I'll cover marketing tips to help your business grow and some simple things that can really make a difference. Tip 1 - Reviews Reviews Reviews. They are free and the major search engines are including them more prevalently now than ever before. Best of all, it inspires confidence in your product or service. Most people will read a review or two before contacting you for the first time. I know I always take a look at reviews first. Incentivize your clients to leave a review! Make it easy and send them a link to a review site such as Insider Pages or Yelp. It may take them a few minutes, but stress to them how important it is to you and if you provided them quality service / product, most people are happy to oblige.
You may get a review that is not so favorable and may not even be true, but it is important to respond to any negative reviews in a positive manner. This keeps you in control and helps minimizes any damage done.
